Like most of ya'll I am a wife and mom. I have three *perfect and adoring* children.... yeah right!, excuse me while I choke on the sarcasm.

OK, seriously

I do have three children ranging in age 7 to age 27 (yep, you read that right there is a 20 year age gap between my oldest and youngest) When my middle kiddo went off to college we adopted our youngest (who wants an empty nest, right. Alone time with your hubby is overrated anyway, or so I hear. I wouldn't know, we started over and I went from the youngest mom in the classroom to the oldest. A teen mom with my first to adopting my youngest at 40 so I guess you could say I have done this mommy thing from almost every possible point of view. Know What? I STILL don't have it all figured out, but thankfully as I get older I have developed more patience and the ability to laugh at myself and that goes a long way when it comes to relationships with kids of all ages.

I love to spend time in my kitchen, cooking/baking is how I relax and I can't wait to share some of that with ya'll. Previously I mostly did subscription box reviews,and trust me I still have a sub box addiction so there will be plenty of box news and reviews, but I also plan to get back to writing about life (kid, my various furry and feathered critters, cooking, marriage,beauty, shopping, reading, genealogy, Bible studies I may be doing, and whatever else pops into my slightly scattered brain) The one thing I can almost guarantee you will not see me posting is how to be crafty (I don't have a crafty bone in my body...seriously its's sad ya'll) I may review some craft or DIY kits but I personally can't teach ya'll much more than how to use a glue gun, but I can cook, bake,even teaching myself to sew and quilt and I can "Southern Momma" with the best of 'em.... just don't ask me to make something you saw on pinterest I'm just not THAT southern Momma.

My daughter Tori (the princess) is my oldest, she works in the medical field. Kaden (the bravest person I know) is my oldest son he's 24 and has recently gone back to school as well as working full time. My youngest son (Tuff) has changed our lives but in the best way possible. This time around I am able to be a stay at home mom (I worked in health care before I became chronically ill myself with an extremely rare autoimmune/auto inflammatory disease called AOSD. I am now unfortunately not able to work (or do lots of things I did before) , but its really been a blessing in disguise since our youngest is on the autism spectrum and being home with him when he was younger would have been best even if I was able to work.

I will occasionally post about medical advocacy as it pertains to kids on the spectrum, as well as autoimmune/auto inflammatory diseases as well as review items that may make life with chronic illness easier or therapy items that we have found useful and/or fun with our son.I may just need to vent about being chronically ill or being an autism momma bear and all that comes with it.

I can't promise I have all the answers,but I guarantee I will always keep it real. I hope you find something you like here, if not check back sometime because I never know what I may end up writing about. One day it may be kids, then next I may have finally talked my hubby into those miniature cows I have been longing for you just never know what I may and up doing. it may not always be sunshine and rainbows, but life isn't always pretty so Sit back and enjoy the ride with me.
