Review of Name a Star,Inc. & a quick giveaway(3 winners) to name YOUR own star

Monday, March 10, 2014

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

this is a SAMPLE certificate and NOT the one I received for my daughter (it has her info on it)
I was recently  given the opportunity to review Name A Star, Inc Since this is something I always see/hear about and think "how neat would that be" I was quite enthusiastically agreed to this sponsored review.

I will also be able to give THREE of my readers the opportunity to name a star themselves...this is going to be a very quick giveaway...it will end at 11pm CST tonight. I will announce the winner tomorrow.

I was sent a certificate suitable for gifting. I actually named this star after my oldest daughter and will be presenting this to her when I leave Texas to head to Tennessee (yes she is almost 23, but she is still may princess)

The certificate gives recipient's name and the longitude and latitude to locate your very own star in the night sky:

I always thought these would be difficult to "find" as in I could say I named a star after you, but your guess is as good as mine which one it is... but they make it pretty easy (see below for examples)

a brief explanation of what you receive will be sent to you via email

this is a sample (not the one I did for MY daughter)
perhaps the coolest part when you run your cursor over the "star chart" on Google Earth my daughters star is not only pointed out and highlighted BUT she (and I assume others) can read the personal message I wrote for her..and trust me it was long and mushy...the PR guy even commented that I wrote a novel instead of a brief note (oops...I get sentimental when think of leaving my (adult) daughters behind when we move)

Again this makes a super easy gift for the loved ones in your life (and affordable $12.99, just click HERE)  .

This would actually be a PERFECT addition to your little one's Easter Baskets this spring, or even gifts for first communion (along with a religious gift of course)

Name a Star, Inc is offering Three (3) of the readers of The Dragon Slayer....MOMMY!!!! their own stars to gift whomever they would like.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
