Cook'n recipe organizersoftware review and giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I was recently given to opportunity to test out and review Cook n' Recipe Organizer 11. As I am an avid cook, and most of my recipes are in my head and many family members have asked that I put them together This was a nice package to try, I can take my own recipes, my grandmother's recipes as well as newfound recipes from the internet and keep them all in one place.

I was expecting this to me mediocre at BEST... just my experience with online recipe programs...MAN WAS I WRONG!!!!

And they are letting me give one to a reader as well (this is an $80 software package) I have seen a LOT of recipe/meal planning sites over the years...this one is by far 100% the best I have used.

This is awesome, it does so much more than I realized when I agreed to do the review, you can type in ingredients you have on hand and it will pull recipes from the internet, your recipe files or anywhere else you specifically desire. You can click and drag recipes from one place to say you are like me and usually create your menu at least a week in advance (I usually do two, but you get the idea) you can take your recipe for eggplant parmesan and drag/drop into your area for Friday's menu along with that new recipe for green beans you just saw on a newsletter the other day. Want to make a pot roast sunday...yep, drag it to sunday and drop in it does meal planning with your recipes and recipes from the net all in that one you pull up Tuesday on Monday night and you see your menu, recipes and can make sure you have everything,....never ever again can hubby say he didn't know HOW to do something or what to get/ is ALL right there for him!

This program also will print out a grocery shopping list (by aisle...YEAH...super time saver)
will calculate the nutritional data of a meal (umm...most of the time I am scared to use this feature)
you can sync this with your android or "i" device by adding the app (no additional cost) so you have the information anywhere, if you are stuck at soccer and need to figure out what to make for the bake sale you just found out about for tomorrow you can scan your recipes, and pull shopping list (again by aisle at the store) and have it all on your phone.

My absolute FAVORITE can create , edit and print your own cookbook right there from the software package (I am the sole keeper of my granny's recipes and I am about to move 1500 miles away from everyone in my bet your buns they will be wanting those recipes come thanksgiving!) I plan to FINALLY tackle that cookbook I have been starting and stopping for years now!

  1. Would love this my mom has put binders together as a cookbook but some is on a zip file

  2. Thank you for this chance to win this amazing program. It sounds like it would take a lot of stress off me as I'm about to become a full time student, part time worker and full time housekeeper. This sounds amazing and if I don't win I'll definitely start saving for this. Once again thank you very much.

  3. I would love to try this out! to keep my recipes safe.. my recipe book is always getting lost somewhere around the house.

  4. Entering ingredients & getting a recipe, thats fantastic!

  5. I like that you can scan printed recipes, especially ones that are old family favorites that have been handed down. :-)
