December Petit Vour Review

Thursday, January 9, 2014

One of the fun suprise boxes I received last month was from Petit Vour, who kindly sent me this box for review purposes. I have been very curious about Petit Vour for ages now, but for some reason I never got around to trying them (now I know that I was missing out) For those not familiar with Petit Vour, they are a monthly cruelty free beauty subscription box with pretty high standards only hand picking the best vegan products on the market. At just $15 a month and free shipping Vetit Vour is also one of the most affordable beauty subscriptions as well even if you are not into the vegan, cruelty free side of things.

This was my first peek, and I immediately recognized Pacifica and was giddy (I love me some Pacifica lip products!) I could tell right away that I was going to love this box. just a side note I personally love the pink/black box with black wrappings... for some reason it just strikes me as a "classic beauty" type things...yea, I am bit crazy like that (perhaps it's a 50's housewife vibe..don't know I just really like it.

as most boxes an informative little info card explains all your pretties.

Pacifica Enlightened Lip Gloss (in Beach Kiss)$12.00- As I stated above I am in love with pacifica, specifically lip products...but I actually didn't have this shade yet so this was perfect for me...seriously perfect shade and perfect brand...If you haven't tried Pacifica yet I HIGHLY suggest you get some ASAP this is some of the best lip stuff I have ever used (not just vegan, but ever)

Modern Minerals eyeshadow (in winter rose) $10.00- I want to say I have seen this brand a time or two in other boxes (maybe Wantable?) I wouldn't mind seeing a lot more of them either, this is a very pretty light shimmery color (if I had just seen the name I would have passed because I would have thought "pink" but really it isn't...it is very neutral and natural) this is actually becoming my "go to" shade right now and it's a multi-tasker...eyeshadow,brows,eyeliner,and highlighter...what's not to love? I don't see this color on their webpage, perhaps it was a special color for Petit Velour...all I know is I love it.

A.Dorn 4 free nail paint (in sail on silver girl) $11.00- I have never seen this polish company before that I can remember, but I got lost on their webpage for awhile looking at all the pretty little bottles...I need more, this one looks lonely all by it's self without some sisters to keep it company.

Be Natural Organics Deep Cleansing Oil Treatment and eye makeup remover $3.00- how cool is this an eye makeup remover AND an oil treatment in one...yes please... I need less steps sometimes. I will be honest I have not tried this just yet (I am working on a review for a new line that I have been using exclusively for 6 weeks now) I will be adding this to my travel bag so that I have it for our upcoming house hunting trip in Nashville.

Be Natural Organics Gentle Face Lotion $3.00 - this is designed to nourish, calm and soothe sensitive skin, again I haven't used this one yet because of the new line I am trying for review, but this has also been added to the travel bag so I will be using this in the upcoming weeks while doing a marathon house hunting trip in much colder weather than I am used to so my face will be needing some soothing if it is windy for sure.

All totaled my December Petit Vour was valued at $39.00, and WOW talk about a great value for the$15.00 price tag...great products (mostly full sized AND discovering new vegan, cruelty free products and line. THey also have a rewards program and referral program so you can earn free boxes.

Head on over and check them out by clicking HERE, this is one of those beauty boxes that you REALLY do need to give a chance... you will thank me.

  1. I have been loving my Petit Vour subscription. I think the boxes are an excellent value for only $15.00. I subscribe to about two dozen boxes and rate this in the top 5 of my favorite subscriptions.
