October Square Hue & giveaway announcement

Friday, November 8, 2013

Recently I was given the opportunity to receive Square Hue  to review for ya'll... well you know I am all over any mention of a polish box..polish makes me happy (I "think" I may have enough polish to open my own store but I still "need" more)

the first look... October's collection was called the Moto collection... halloween colors and then a nice chrome color.

Oil Slick- this is a pretty duochrome that really looks more of a purplish holographic color than the picture shows, but in certain lights it also looks like a greenish blue chrome... and even silver... I simply LOVE this polish and it might be one of my top 5 polishes .... what a good idea for a post while I am stuck in bed this weekend... a top 5 or 10 polish post... this one would likely make it to the top 3 but I am not looking at all of the "pretties" to confirm that...

Desert Grit- this is a textured polish, I am coming around on the textured polishes I didn't think I liked them at first but I find I like them more and more over time... this one was a surprise all the way around... I really saw it and though...Ummm...no... orange AND textured... but it is actually a really pretty polish on (I JUST changed my polish yesterday so I can't show it to you... but I promise this is a really pretty non "halloween" color... I can totally see myself wearing this this fall quite a bit.

Iron Horse- this is a hi gloss creme in black- Black polish isn't really my things these days (I am in my 40s  and i think ladies in my age group are past the black polish years...so this will be gifted to either my eldest princess or my oldest Niece both will love it!

so what did you think of the  Square Hue Moto collection?
Over all I am pretty happy the Oil Slick is AMAZING, one of the best polishes I have ever seen...period...that alone to me is worth the cost of the box, but I also loved the lightly texture of the orange polish, only the orange wasn't halloween orange....but pretty orange...the black is beautiful BUT it just is not for my age group in my opinion but I have found a new home for it no problem!

This box is 14.95 plus shipping so total $19.95

Now for the best part... the folks over at Square hue have been kind enough to sponsor a giveaway for one of ya'll to receive a box of your own... I will launch the giveaway in the morning so check back then!

***I received this item free of charge for review purposes, as always my thoughts and opinions are my own and I did not received compensation in any way for my review***

  2. I really like that orange polish, but I'm not sure about the texture. I still haven't been brave enough to try a textured polish yet. My fave Fall polish is something with a lot of fiery orange tones in a shimmer, and I love a gorgeous shimmery red or purpley-green duo broke for Winter. This box looks fabulous!

    Cheers,
