June Hello Flo Box Review

Sunday, June 23, 2013

I was recently given an opportunity to review a box from Hello Flo, I was pretty excited to try this one out I must confess (yes, I got excited over tampons...but really it's so much more)
For those of you unfamiliar with Hello Flo it is a simple, but genius time of the month box for women that sends everything you need or crave to make that "time of the month" a better experience and eliminates the dreaded moment when you realize you are out of tampons /pads and you need them...like now!!!

My hello Flo box arrived in a plain white packing box (I took pictures but they all showed my address so I decided not to post them) This is what my little care package looked like when I pulled it out of the box. I think I am in love with the polka dot little container to hold everything... I really must get more even my mom wants one for her  guest bathroom to keep "essentials" for her guests. Let's see what all is in these little blue gift packages shall we...

SW Basics of Brooklyn lip balm and cream
In the process of writing this review, I managed to get lost on the SW Basics website for awhile, it appears they have some great natural products, even some vegan lip balms (and we know all about me and my lip balm obsession) I love that Hello Flo includes pampering items in as your monthly "treat", honestly sending me a lip balm at that time of the month is about as great as sending Carrie Bradshaw shoes in her monthly period box!

See's candy chocolate pops
These yummy little chocolate candies are perfect for this time of year they don't melt and they give you the chocolate you crave this time of the month and have less calories as well (uumm, not that that has ever stopped me but I know some ladies think of those things)

Regular tampons

Super Tampons

Panty liners

Always pads

Always overnight pads

the most adorable handmade "basket" I have seen, I really do love this thing!

Hello Flo has various plans depending on your "flow" and your preferences of tampons/pads or both. I choose the Heavy Flo for $18 a month for review since that is what my needs are. The monthly plans are $14-$18 for tampon only or tampon/pad combination boxes and $15 for the pad only option.
I love that Hello Flo keeps it simple, sends you exactly what you need (honestly, I think a little more than needed which is good because you never what to "be without" of these particular items, ya know what I mean?) You get what you need, what you crave, and even things just to pamper you...how perfect, this is something we all need at that time of month..let's face it this is never going to be a  time to be happy about, BUT with Hello Flo you can look forward to "that time of the month for a change"
