WEGO Health Activist writer's challenge day 16 (3 truths and a lie)

Today’s Prompt:
  • Tell us 3 things that are true about you, your condition, or your Health Activism.  Tell us 1 lie. Will we be able to tell the difference?

1) I get DAILY fever spike that exceed 102.5 twice a day everyday at the same times each and every day

2) only 0.00006% of the population will have Still's disease

3) chemotherapy is the medication I take to cure my disease

4) a person with Still's can have the same labs done at 8 AM and then done again at 9 PM and many of the markers will be considerably different and then return to the same values again the next morning (WBC, sedrate, CRP) because of the changes the dragon causes to our bodies over the course of the day

the "lie" is #3... although many of us including myself ARE on weekly chemotherapy treatments for the rest of our lives it is NOT now nor will it EVER be a is unlikely that it will even put us into remission BUT is does help a great deal with many of our symptoms and improves our quality of life dramatically as well as doing a tremendous amount of "damage control"  for instance someone who is not on a DMARD (which is what we use chemo for) is very likely to become TOTALLY disabled in 10 years time than someone who does take a chemo DMARD type medication)
