Sprite Biscuits (recipe)

These are super quick, super easy ,fresh biscuits

Preheat oven to 425

what you need:
4 cups baking mix (either homemade or store bought)
1 cup sour cream
1 cup sprite
1/2 stick butter

mix everything above other than the butter with a fork until a dough forms (will be sticky)

let this sit a few min to rise a bit, meanwhile put the butter either into one 9X13 pan or into two 8X8 square or round pans and pop into the oven until butter melts and then remove pan(s) from oven and set aside

sprinkle some flour on waxed paper on your work surface and place the dough in the center of the work area, sprinkle the top with flour. knead dough with hands (until non sticky dough forms) and then pat dough out with your hands or rolling pin and then cut into biscuits either using biscuit cutter or even a drinking glass dipped in flour.
Place cut biscuits into pan(s) and bake for 17 to 20 min and serve

this makes about 18 average size biscuits, but will vary based on size of biscuit butter and thickness you roll dough to (I do about 1/4 think)

it's that easy, these are yummy and will disappear quickly
