Graze Box Review (3 weeks of boxes)

Saturday, April 27, 2013

For those of you who don't know about Graze, you are missing out... This is a box I completely look forward to with extreme anticipation like a little kid waiting for the ice cream truck

Graze is a snack box (healthy snacks) that comes with 4 different snacks in each box. You ca choose to receive your Graze box weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. I am currently getting my boxes weekly. I didn't think ya'll would like to see a Graze review every week So, I took a vote on the companion Facebook page for this blog and it seems ya'll would like to see the reviews of this box every two weeks...this one will have three weeks in it because I actually received three weeks at once.

Graze boxes ship from England and it seems that customs held up a bunch of boxes because I kow some of my readers also received multiple weeks at once this time. Graze is still just starting out in the US, but is well established in England, which is how I found out about it because a lot of my fellow dragon slayers in the UK get these yummy snacks too. Unfortuantly because Graze is still in testing mode in the US at the moment you can only get a Graze box if a current Graze member invites you , and each member of Graze only gets one invitation code (sorry, the princess got my code) they do offer a waiting list for when they open up, and as they open up to the public people will be offered graze boxes in the order they are placed on the waiting list...so go, get yourself on the list for this yumminess and then start searching and begging for a Graze invitation code (like I did)
Each box is custom made for the individual it ships to, you get a cute little card that is individualized for you with the snacks in your box, the nutritional breakdown and the expiration date of each snack (because these are fresh and have no preservatives they expire quickly) as well as some puzzle games in your little information card...OK on to the boxes

this is what your Graze box will look like, with the info card on top and a napkin underneath...for review purposes, I am going to use the pics from the Graze website of the individual snacks I received, because I want you to see the real "yummy" because these do NOT photograph well as the two above photos clearly show.

BOX 1
HONEYCOMB CRUNCH-milk chocolate coated honeycomb, raisins and almonds-
this was heavenly, the honeycomb was delicious...loved it!!!

super berry detox

blueberries, green raisins, goji berries and cranberries
this was yummy, a little sweet, a little tart and a very healthy pick me up

my thai

sweet chili sauce with baked soy bites
there are no words to describe this snack, I loved it and want more... I didn't share even though I KNEW hubby and princess would love it as much as I did...I am totally bummed that I can not buy a very large batch of this

natural vanilla seeds

vanilla sunflower seeds and vanilla pumpkin seeds
I was hesitant about this one, but I was wrong...it was as pretty much everything else delicious  plus it lasted me a couple of snack sessions...it was kind of addictive, the more I snacked on it the better I liked it.

BOX 2

scrumptious blueberry swirl

blueberry yogurt raisins, raspberry infused cranberries and blackcurrants
this was very good, filling and my little guy really enjoyed it as well. I love getting these healthy snack options and they really are VERY good!!

bonnie wee oatbakes

red onion marmalade with cheese and chive oatbakes
from the first day I logged on to the Graze site and checked out their snack this one intrigued me, so I was very happy to see it in my box...I was not disappointed  I loved it. I think this probably isn't for everyone but I could eat this everyday.

fruit and seed flapjack

rustic rolled oat flapjack with mixed seeds and dried fruits
I really wasn't excited to try this one, but I was actually pleasantly surprised. Not only did I like it, but this little bar was VERY filling and lasted me two snack sessions.

omega booster seeds

sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and golden flaxseeds
This paticular snack is just OK, it isn't that it is bad...just very plain, no salt or other seasoning. There is a lot of seeds in there so far I have snacked on it twice, and the princess once...I would like it much better if it was salted.

BOX 3

dark rocky road

pecan nuts, dark chocolate buttons and cranberries
OMG, this stuff is dangerous, I ate it all very, very quickly and was disappointed that I could not just "go get  more" that is the only bad thing about Graze, I can't go buy the products I love.

cracking black peppercorn

black pepper rice crackers
I thught I would love this one, but I really didn't...I did not hate it, but I think if I get it again I will try using it in place of croutons in a salad.

pear tatin

pear, raspberry infused cranberries, yogurt coated sunflower seeds and almonds
I actually haven't tried this one yet, but it is right up my alley so to speak. I am sure that Tuff Stuff and I will love this when we have it for a snack next week.

summer berry compote

berry compote with wholemeal shortbread dippers
I also have not had the opportunity to check this one out just yet, but I am actually dying to try this one...what's not to like? shortbread cookies and strawberry jam...I am ashamed to say this will be one that I doubt I will share.

So what did ya'll think of my Graze boxes? are you a beleiver yet? Whant to know the BEST part? These boxes are only $5.00 each and that included the shipping from England...If you can get your hands on a Graze invitation code your first and fifth boxes are also free. This is the link to the Graze site, again I highly suggest getting on the waiting list as soon as possible so when they really "launch" here in the states you can get in on it, just click here----->click here
