April Birchbox review

I received My April Birchbox in the mail and let me tell you I was beyond thrilled with the contents of my little surprise box for this month. I am sure most of you are familiar with Birchbox , but for those like me who arrived late to the subscription box craze it is a monthly subscription box that contains deluxe sized Skin care, makeup, perfume, grooming and lifestyle samples (usually 4-5 deluxe sized samples and occasionally a fu  ll sized product or two) This is the best way I have found to try so many different skin care, hair care and makeup samples (the samples are usually large enough to last me at least a month so I really get a chance to "try" the product and but it if I like it) Birchbox also has it's own store where you can purchase many of the items shipped to you at discounted prices as well which is nice for me since I am unable to go out and shop and as hard as the Yankee tries he just has a hard time picking up my beauty items (even when I am very specific) on the items I want

this was the first look at the box for this month (I will admit I had looked at some spoilers so I had an "idea" of what was coming in my box, but wasn't positive.) I know a lot of people get frusterated with their Birtchboxes at times, so far I have been rather happy with mine (maybe I am just easy to please?)
OK , on to the contents....

This is Claudine Divine oil made with a blend of grape, argan, hisiscus, and sesame oils. It is a multitask beauty powerhouse, is used on skin, hair and nails. I have actually been wanting to try a few different oils for my hair so this box was a great one for me....

Nexxus youth renewal rejuvenating elixir. This is a shine boosting serum that "cures" dry strands and reduces the odds of breakage. As I said above I have been looking into different oils for my hair (and look at that I got TWO, go me!!!) Chemo has done a number on my hair and although it isn't falling out as much as before it is terribly dry and brittle (honestly it looks terrible) I am hoping to find my dream hair oil to make it look healthy again

StriVectin SD eye concentrate for wrinkles- I am a BIG fan of StriVictan already and have a couple of full size products, I am sure this will not dissapoint. It says "patented molocule peptide to diminish fine lines and reverse the look of puffy circles" I have never been disapointed by this brand before so I am sure I will love this one too

Yungblood Mineral Cosmetics anti Shine mattifier. it says to dab this shine "zapping" balm onto your T Zone before applying foundation for a shine free face all day. Sounds good to me, I live in Texas and it gets HOT, I have learned to accept "shine" as p[art of life. If this does wat it promises to do I will be a customer for life, plus I prefer mineral cosmetics so a double win for me.

Weleda body lotion (this was my "beauty extra item (s)") I received three pretty good size foil packet samples in Pomegranate, Wild Rose, and Sea Buckthorn. This is a Swiss product made from natural oils and hydrators. I tried the Po,egranate and it smelled wonderful, but left a little bit of a greasy residue and strangly my Boxer (Liberty Bell) LOVED it and would not quit licking me after I applied it (thankfully it was natural therefore "safe" but it was strange and weird to have her following me and licking at my legs)

and finally every birch box came with a subscription card for a free year of Women's Health Magazine since the theme of this box was Tiny Tweaks BIG results and was sponserd by Women's Health Magazine. I think this is a great bonus (it alone pays for this month's box without any products) but for those who do not want the magazine you can also mail in the card and "turn down" the magazine and they will send you $9.99 so either way this card just paid for your box....way to go Women's health and Birch Box.

Did you get your birchbox? what was in it and do you like it?

if you haven't signed up for BirchBox yet, it is only $10 a month and one of my favorite and most anticapated boxes. Use this link to sign up todayClick Here
